Trash and Linen Chutes
Trash/linen chute cleaning, inspections, maintenance and repairs require the right approach. Titan Specialties has over 20 years of experience in the area of trash/linen chute cleaning, inspections, maintenance and repair to ensure your job is completed safely and thoroughly.
Trash/linen chutes need to be inspected and certified according to NFPA 80 &82. Titan Specialties provide free annual inspections with a maintenance plan or chute cleaning.
NFPA 80 5.2.3.1 - Acceptance testing of fire doors....shall be performed by a qualified person with knowledge and understanding of the operating components...
NFPA 82 11.2.2 - Waste and linen chutes... including chute intake and discharge doors, shall be inspected and maintained not less than annually.

NFPA 82 11.2.3 - A written record of the inspection shall be signed and kept for inspection by the AHJ.
